Foresight Energy Provides Update on Elevated Carbon Monoxide Readings at the Deer Run Mine

ST. LOUIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Foresight Energy LP (NYSE: FELP) (“Foresight”) reported today that its efforts to restore operations at its Deer Run Mine are ongoing. Foresight’s company personnel continue to coordinate with federal and state authorities to examine and monitor the mine, address the cause of the elevated carbon monoxide levels, and safely resume operations. Foresight does not have an estimate of the timeline on which Deer Run Mine will resume normal underground operations

To date, the company has met all of its coal supply obligations from inventory and expects to continue to do so through the foreseeable future.
